Exceptional Teens & Adults Learning Center is a structured program of continuing education training, health care services and leisure activities for adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Developmental Disabilities like Autims. See below for summary of services.
Adult Day Health Care
- Skilled nursing services are provided by our Registered Nurse on a regularly scheduled basis. Services include, but are not limited to: ostomy care, urinary catheter care, decubitis care, tube feeding, venipuncture, insulin injections, tracheotomy care and vital signs and medical monitoring.
Adult Day Training
- Adult day training services support individuals in daily, meaningful routines in the community by stressing activities of daily living, self-advocacy, adaptive and social skills, vocational skills, and are provided in the community as well as on site.
Attendant Care
- Attendant care services consists of hands-on care for individuals who are medically stable but require care or supervision 24 hours a day
Community Living Supports (CLS)
- CLS are provided to facilitate independence and promote integration into the community for an individual residing in their own home or their family's home. The supports and assistance are related to goals and objectives of the individual, which may be household tasks, personal hygiene, shopping, money management, and socialization, and are provided on a one to one basis.
Homemaker Services
- Homemaker services consist of general household activities for individuals who are unable to perform the tasks, or if caregiver is temporarily absent or unable to perform the household activities.
Personal Care Service
- Personal care services assist individuals with eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene or other activities of daily living which are essential to the individual's health and welfare.
Respite
- Respite care services are provided on a short term basis in the absence or need for relief for the family or caregiver. Services can be provided in home or in the community.
