Exceptional Teens & Adults frequently rely on volunteer participation. Volunteers are a integral part of the operations and could not achieve our mission without the assistance of you. More than 61 million American volunteer their time with an organization at least once per year according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. We at Exceptional Teens & Adults offer many opportunities to get involved. We invite you to join our team!

• D.E.A.R. program (Drop Everything & Read)-Many of our participants are unable to read. It would be a great benefit by learning new words and forming sentences. Also, the pure enjoyment of listening to a story-teller and the adventures of books

• Partners in Education program-This program, participants will participate in continuous education. Volunteers are need to assist with facilitating a lesson or activity focused on educational improvement. Ranging from reading & spelling, science, history, math, and handwriting

• Tour de' Louisville program-assist with participants on off campus community outings. This provides the participants to tour Metro Louisville while enhancing their social skills. Trips have included the Louisville Zoo, Kentucky State Fair, Muhammand Ali Center, and local restaurants.

• Share Your Gift- Share your special talent or skill with us! If you are an artist, dancer, musician, or any other talent you may posses, we invite your to share with our participants.

• Group Service Project-Exceptional Teens and Adults greatly benefits from volunteers who help paint, wash windows and landscape. Companies, organizations and church groups are invited to inquire about special projects.
